How VLGE sees the future of identity in spatial computing starts from users having power over their own data.
Phygital Events: From the Comfort of Your Own Home The Defile Fashion Show under the Eiffel Tower invited individuals to explore iconic Parisian streets, with a twist. VLGE, in collaboration with L'Oreal Paris and McCann Agency, took a real-world event and created a new dimension of engagement by designing and building Virtual Paris. Not only digitizing Paris, but also creating digital twins of influential figures like Eva Longoria, Kendall Jenner, and Cindy Bruna. An even further dimension of interconnectedness was added by integrating the activation directly with Roblox and optimizing the experience for large screens set up in the physical event, closing the loop both in reality and in a Metaverse environment.

VLGE harnessed the interconnectedness of our digital and physical realms to launch L'Oreal Paris's Metavivids advertising and edutainment campaign, innovatively blending product experience, digital exploration, and digital identity. This campaign highlights the potential of direct-to-avatar marketing, offering consumers immersive, hyperrealistic avatars and personalized virtual environments linked to physical product packaging. By scanning a QR code, users dive into bespoke virtual worlds, showcasing the dualities of our identities in both realms. Launched globally, the campaign underscores the transformative power of blending gaming and beauty, steering consumer engagement toward sustainable and inclusive practices. Collaborating with L'Oreal DMI and McCann agency, VLGE executed everything from digital design to cybersecurity, launching in nine countries and languages. The project extended into engaging CGI content, social media advertising, and interactive hair filters, all providing valuable analytics on consumer engagement. VLGE x Metavivids exemplifies how digital identities can revolutionize product interaction, merging gaming experiences with beauty in a way that respects and enhances consumer habits, ultimately influencing their digital footprint towards sustainable and inclusive practices.

Immersing in the vibrancy of Superbowl 2024, VLGE and NYX Professional Makeup unveiled NYX Duckplump Land—a groundbreaking leap into immersive commerce. This virtual realm, where real-world beach vistas meld with digital fantasy, turned each player into their own plump lip avatar, blending gameplay and an engaging product discovery journey. The full technical implementation being done in-house by VLGE.The experience, accessible through the product page via an embedded iFrame, intertwined 3 mini-games with product education videos, and a shelf display with integrated in-game Add-to-Cart and direct to website Checkout functionalities. The games also came equipped with several discount codes and prizes, drawing on incentive-based consumer buying habits.The HollyNYX land experience set a new benchmark for how brands can dynamically fuse gaming with product marketing, charting a new course for consumer engagement and digital commerce evolution.

Playable on mobile and desktop, all anyone needed was an internet connection. Launched in 5 countries and in 4 languages, it included interactive elements like mini-games, a virtual museum tour with collectibles, and direct e-commerce access to purchasing. Further emphasizing diversity and inclusion, over 700 avatar variations were available to users, reflecting different skin tones, hairstyles, ethnic backgrounds, and clothing, giving users the autonomy to define their digital identity within this virtual space.
